When Should You Renew?
Most CPR certifications are valid for 2 years. Here's when to act.
Before Expiration
Renew within 30–60 days of your current certification's expiration date to maintain continuous coverage.
Employer Requirements
Many employers require a current CPR card. Renew before yours lapses to avoid interruption to your employment or licensing.
Recently Expired?
If your certification lapsed recently, the renewal course may still be right for you. Contact us and we can advise the best path.

It depends on how long ago it expired. If it lapsed recently, the renewal course is likely still appropriate. If it's been several years, we may recommend the full certification instead. Contact us at [email protected] and we'll point you in the right direction.
The online refresher typically takes 1–2 hours. The in-person skills check is usually 45–90 minutes depending on group size.
Yes. Renewal certifications are issued through HSI (Health & Safety Institute) and carry the same weight as a new certification. Accepted by most employers, schools, and healthcare facilities.
After you pass your in-person skills check, your new 2-year certification card is emailed to you within 1 business day.
